Stories That Shaped a Nation: Weaving Jewish Voices Into American History Webinar

In the last decade, incidents of anti-Jewish harm have increased nearly 900% in the U.S. Unfortunately, K-12 schools have not been exempt from this. Students as young as seven have been harassed, bullied, and intimidated because of their Jewish identity. There has not been any curriculum available to teach American students about who Jews are - until now. Join the Federation's Jewish Community Relations Council and the Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History for a virtual presentation about their new curriculum, Stories That Shaped a Nation: Jewish Lives in America. You will learn how this curriculum challenges antisemitism and brings the civic, artistic, and cultural dimensions of Jewish peoplehood into classrooms across Washington State and the nation. This webinar is for anyone who cares about the safety and belonging of Jewish students. Even if you are not an educator or a parent, we invite you to join us for this inspiring virtual learning session!
